ABOUT

This project was created in the context of NSquare’s 2019-2020 Innovation Fellowship, which aims at connecting people, ideas and approaches to provide meaningful, tangible benefits for the nuclear threat field. The Fellowship consisted of 3 Sprints, during which fellows were introduced to the Design Process and practiced applying it on a variety of different nuclear threat challenges. 

During the 3rd Sprint, I worked closely with Innovation Fellows Sarah Frazier, Jamie Withorne, and fellow designer Brian Payne. Together, we created NEW CLEAR, a unique engagement platform prototype designed to introduce nuclear topics, including nuclear war, disarmament, nonproliferation and arms control, to K-12 students, parents, and educators. The educational content is designed to be hands-on and flexible, giving users the opportunity to craft their own solutions, while generating meaningful mentor relationships and sustainable impact on the nuclear risk reduction field.
