SEA CREATURE TOTES

This project was born on March of 2018 when I was organizing a fundraising auction for Break the Anchor - an initiative aiming to build a transatlantic community of boatbuilders. Inspired by the maritime theme of the project, Emily Cornell Du Houx, Sheamus O’Hara and I illustrated, in the course of one evening, 100 different sea creatures auction paddles.
The sea creature totes are an evolution of that initial project - Owen Page and I designed them to give these creatures a second life. The designs are silk screen printed on heavy canvas and the bags are all hand-made.
The totes were sold at the 5th annual Steel House Holiday Pop-Up Shop.
