A series of castings produced as a result of an experimental collaboration with Kate Dannessa.
In the initial phase of the project, we developed a series of highly specific vessels, such as a tray for a single pineapple or a bowl for a chili pepper. After using ridiculously specific function to dictate form, we inversed the process and forced form upon function, making candles look like anything else but candles.
The pieces were sold at the 4th annual Steel House Holiday Pop-Up Shop.
